PM TERRA-TEC
Drainage membrane
PM TERRA-TEC is the new champion among protection and drainage systems and thus the best solution for horizontal surface drainage on all pressure-stable substrates.
A full-surface drainage layer is necessary for flat roof structures with slab or paved surfaces that can be walked on or driven over in order to reliably prevent water accumulation. In winter, backwater can lead to frost damage, freezing and warping of the covering.
PM TERRA-TEC consists of an innovative dimpled membrane with specially reinforced and trowalised dimples for extra-high drainage capacity and extreme compressive strength.
The extra large number of dimples and a smooth backing ensure the best load distribution and perfect protection on the waterproofing. In addition, there is a new type of overlap system based on the push-button principle. This is easy to apply and completely weather-independent. The laminated high-quality, particularly stable geotextile rounds off the range of product advantages perfectly. This double-layer system protects the waterproofing below it from mechanical damage and damaging thermal stresses.
PM TERRA-TEC has an extreme compressive strength of approx. 500 kN/m². The product is available in seven widths from 0.50 to 2.50 m. The optimum water drainage capacity is many times higher than required by the DIN 4095 drainage standard.
PM TERRA-TEC reliably protects underground garage ceilings, terraces and other horizontally used roof surfaces from waterlogging.
The moisture passes through the geotextile into the dimpled channels and is safely drained away there. The geotextile acts as a filter and prevents the dimple channels from silting up. The optimal high-performance geotextile has a very high initial strength with minimal deformation under increasing service loads. Sound insulation is becoming increasingly important, especially for areas that can be driven over or walked on.
PM TERRA-TEC also offers a tested impact sound reduction of up to 34 dB, depending on the roof structure.

Sound insulation is becoming increasingly important, especially for surfaces that can be driven over or walked on. The lower the noise pollution, the higher the living comfort. This is why, for example, when planning a terrace, special importance is attached to effective impact sound insulation in addition to a high drainage capacity.
During impact sound tests in the laboratory for building acoustics at the Wiesbaden University of Applied Sciences, the impact sound improvement resulting from the installation of PM TERRA-TEC between the waterproofing and the chippings bed of the covering in combination with different flat roof structures was investigated.
The basis of this scientific investigation was DIN EN ISO 140-1.
The clear result: up to 34 dB impact sound improvement!
